The rear-view clinches it. No way that's wear.

Legal status aside, it's still a nice toy.

I like it! It's unique. I wonder where I can find one if it's cheaper than the real one.

Hopefully you didn't pay too much for it, because other than that it's sweet (don't tell us how much or where you got it from I think that's against the rules)!

I got a bootleg Godzilla '64 and '75 because the real ones from the Memorial Box are expensive as hell. I'm perfectly content with them. I'm allowed to say this right considering the rules here?

Bootleg toys, I believe are allowed to be discussed. It's ROM's and bootleg DVD's that are forbidden.

Oh alright then, false alarm people.

So yeah, the Memorial Box incarnations of Godzilla always seem to go for like 60 bucks a pop atleast.

I scored both Godzilla '64 and '74 for 14 bucks total and they look fantastic...can't really tell the difference except the stamping on the bottom of the feet.

As long as you are happy with your Megalon than that's all that matters. No need to compare to other lines either. I love the bandai figures, even though other companies like X-Plus and MonsterArts are on a whole different level detail wise. I love my Bandai Angilas '68, but X-Plus' Angilas looks more true to the film version in every way.

I did pay too much for him ($50) and I have no problem calling out the dealer I consider now of ill repute at G-Fest....or I would have no problem calling them out if I knew who they were.

It wasn't really their fault, it was mine for not knowing better, but in retrospect at that price I feel like they probably knew they were getting one over on me. I also got a Godzilla Millennium from the same booth whose (i didnt notice till later) tail doesn't move - it's like jammed or something.

Mostly my fault for being a twit but I certainly won't be buying anything from them next year if I go.

I'm happy with my Meggy ParaBaby. Until they do a SHMA Megalon, that is. ;)

Eh, don't sweat it dude. Nothing you can do now. There are shitty people all over the world who are trying to rip off people who don't know better. All of us are naive to such things at first unless we have had someone in the know teach us these things. Either that, or we learn the hard way and bite the bullet on a 50 dollar bootleg (hey, it could have been alot worse). I bet you'll be more careful next time, and for 50 bucks you got a pretty cool bootleg and invaluable experience.
