Is that Marmit G2K a brand new sculpt? I dig it.

And that HB kit looks very cool as well. Seems that HB's uber-spikey style lends itself well to a kaiju like Legion.

Nah, it's just a new colorway. It's a great figure, though.

I may not be the biggest Marmit fan as many of you guys are, but that is a SWEET deal for a MH figure, especially a 14" figure such as that!
I'm such a sucker for large scaled figures, so hell, I may end up picking that MH MechaGodzilla up eventually.

Amazing! I'll definitely go for this.

Makes me wish that I hadn't bought Marmit's earlier giant MechaGodzilla (the one with the oversized head).

But it also makes me glad that I resisted any temptation to sink big bucks into Marusan's 16" giant MG... bigger, yes, but in that scale (IMO), Marusan's sculpt just doesn't look as good as this one.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I've already got an IMO cooler variant of the MechaG, but that's very cool that one's coming out in the US, and it's at a reasonable price. If anyone's wondering about it, it's a huge, very well sculpted figure. The wrists rotate, too, so you can get some finger missile shooting poses. :]

Didn't Marmit just release a new variant of this G2K figure late last year? :? Why yet another one so soon? I don't get it...why the hard on for this particular G2K figure? It's a nice figure (one I wouldn't mind owning someday), but there are other MH figures that haven't had a variant released in *forever*...why not a variant of those figures instead (or hell, why not *GASP!* a NEW SCULPT/FIGURE) instead? Really sad to see what's become of this once fantastic line :(

Isn't 14 inch in the 'Giant' scale of MMH?

Yes. But this figure (at least the one in the photo) is NOT the 14" version. It's definitely the standard 9" Monster Heaven figure.

I was just about to point out the same thing...the photo is the recent "grey" variant of the 9 inch figure released a few months ago. I don't recall Marmit ever releasing a MH figure exclusively in the US...would this be a first? :?:

So is the photo or the information incorrect, then?

^Considering that there was a MH 91 Goji for pre-order from Diamond a couple of months ago and it was also $99.99, I've got to assume this isn't going to be the 14" figure.

I'm hoping the product they're releasing is a scale-up of the same sculpt as their standard 9" MH MechaGodzilla.

It better not be that big-headed giant MG that Marmit released a few years back, if they want to sell very many of them in the U.S. Same comment if it's the 9", at that price.

^Yeah...I mean, it isn't hard to find a nice MG figure for less than that price. I know he's very popular and all, but if Marmit is trying to get into the US market they'd be much better served by something a little less obvious. I'm not talking Gabara or anything, but Hell...they'd sell a ton of Anguirus's(si?) if they put that sculpt out there at that price.

The information is incorrect by Diamond. The picture and release that Diamond is taking preorders is for the standard size 9 inch figure. This Mechagodzilla color version was from the month of May Marmit Japan preorders as are the other 2 figures being advertised in the Diamond preorder book for the month of July.
