Dude, you need to stop this. You played like a scrub. Plain and simple. throwing out 5 oxygen balls at a time with Destoroyah, and spamming tasers with MGK are really lame, dishonorable tactics. You didn't do anything else in the match except for an occasional grab/ throw.

Beating someone in a Melee match isn't proof of anything. Characters re-spawn back up, and the fact of the matter is, you died more times in matches against either of us. Even in the Melee matches where it was all three of us against each other, you always lost.

In a Versus match (which is not available on the PS2 version) there are no re-spawns. When you're K.O.ed, you stay K.O.ed. I don't see you doing so well in that mode.

Spamming projectiles gives you more points in Melee mode. You win Melee matches through a points system, which is incredibly flawed, because it's almost never representative of the skill of the actual player. Players like you are rewarded for spamming projectiles, which is sad. This is just one of the reasons Melee mode isn't used in G-Fest tournaments.

This soo much. Matrix we didn't even play 4 matches one on one and you literaly ran away and spammed beams 95% of the time that's not skill at all that's called being a coward. I've played people like you before the second they start losing they run and do cheap bull shit moves and still barely even win if at all, then go to a place like Tohokingdom or Atari or whereever and try to say that they kicked my ass or something when really all they did was run away as fast as they could the second they started winning it's really really sad, running away takes no skill whatsoever.
He musta thought it was a gun!
I liked Giant Condor and Gabara before it was cool to just sayin.

So... brings up some things we need to change for the new game. I guess there will need to be something put in place to prevent running. (although some monsters weren't created to fight toe to toe)

Yeah, I know this conversation is technically unrelated, but it really drives home that I don't want the new Godzilla game to be StE 2.0. Power ups and running around a huge arena sound like good ways to balance slow-powerful monsters and fast-weak monsters, but it's pretty clear that it doesn't make for the most satisfying gameplay experience.

There are about 137 topics about the new game..I suggest taking your concerns to one of those, Zentenk.

Once I get internet on my P2, I shall join you, I will most likely lose quite a bit, but I'll take it like a man.
I will fight till my monster falls to the ground, upon respawn I shall fight tooth and claw with honor.
