Worst Godzilla Game

..G:U for the Wii is the "worst" Godzilla game? Are you f'n kidding me?

How about G:U for PS2 and DS? Or the Godzilla game for the original Game Boy? Now those games are ass.

I didn't mind GU for the PS2 so much. I def liked the controls better. The DS game...eh. You know something is wrong when the company that made the game doesn't want to be associated with it.

To be fair, I didn't 'hate' the PS2 version, being the big STE-head that I am, but it definitely had it's share of problems. The frame rate was pretty spotty when playing Melee, especially if you played anywhere but Monster Island, and the lack any real "new" monsters really hurt the game overall, IMO.

I'll disagree with this point. G54 and G90 were the only two monsters out of 26 that had significant overlap in their animations.

G:U PS2 was most definitely not "glitch free". SpaceGodzilla's throw, for one, is glitched to hell. My friend was able to grab me through mountains, and other structures, on multiple occasions, in multiple matches.

The controls for the Wii version weren't perfect, but they're definitely weren't "shit". There also were not "tons of clones" at all.

If it were anyone else, I'd be implored to argue with you, but I'm not dumb enough to try to argue with the man who designed the game's characters.

I have DAMM, STE, GU and (wii), I also had the PS2 copy of GU, but sold it for the Wii copy almost immediately.

I kinda want to pick it up just to say I have it. Since it's so different from the Wii copy.

The "Godzilla:The Series" games for Game Boy- Godzilla & Godzilla:Monster Wars, basically both are the same game, but with different levels. I tried to play one of these the other day and couldn't get past the 1st level. GINO is known for his speed, why'd they make him so darn slow in these games ???

While not PS3 good (of course not), there are still Godzilla games on handhelds that have pretty solid graphics. In fact, that's one thing I CAN count on Godzilla games for. I haven't been displeased with any Godzilla game (Besides the puzzle game, and the 2 "The Series" games) in terms of graphics. I think that Godzilla games have a solid Graphics track.

I would have to say Godzilla Unleashed for DS gameplay was the least inspired. BUT! The character models looked very cool, 2 player made it a little more fun, but it was very monotonous.

I was let down by GU on PS2, I played until I unlocked battra an then I never picked it up again, I just couldn't figure out how it was worse than StE.. The throws that landed at your feet!

Every single person on this board loves Monster of Monsters (well, not every single one, but I've yet to hear someone call it out) whilst most love Super Godzilla and a handful will defend War of the Monsters. The GameBoy game is relatively forgotten, and DAM has quite the reputation.

The first couple times I saw it, I loved it, I used to be a HUGE fan of the Angry Video Game Nerd.
