Which "new" monsters do you want in the next Godzilla game?

Ebirah should definately be a playable character in the next Godzilla game!

Thinking you start as the Final Wars version, and unlock the Showa skin as you level up/continueously play.

Let's show the shrimp some appreciation and get him voted in guys!

Why should it? I'm not flaming the boards, and this site is generally looked at for game element ideas and request. This is mine, along with several others, at least according to what they wanted in Godzilla: Unleashed. People wanna play as Ebirah, let's have a thread all it's own that shows that. Maybe the current/future developers will take notice!

And besides, I'm pretty sure the next game will build from scratch, and TBH there's a lot more priorities than Ebirah.

If a G4 was to be made though, Ebirah would be a welcomed addition.

I remember I was playing STE (iwas new to Godzilla) I saw Ebirah, I was wondering can play as him, but when I played the game long enough it was disappounting that you cant play as him Thats why I want him in the next game.

Hell, he'd be a welcome addition for any new Godzilla game. Character would actually have a lot of possibilities in other game genres as well.

Although, if it meant cutting back on someone else... like Varan or Titanosaurus, let's say... I'd sooner have either of them.

So, yeah, I think the key term here is "addition." But I guess it'd all depend on the developer and the budget for the game.

Actually back around 1999 our closest Walmart Super center(Campbellsville, Kentucky) had a few import copies of the game in their PS1 game case. At the time the Game section was in the very middle of the store and I remember walking past and seeing both Godzilla and Zilla fighting, so I rushed back and asked a worker about it. While I was playing the Star Wars Ep.1 game for Ps1 waiting for the worker to get back, The work came back and told me that the games were brought in via import.

But back on topic: Unless Ebirah is scaled up a little bit I dont really see him doing well as a 1v1 monster, maybe doing something with him like the Mothra Larva from STE.

Ebirah's cool. I'd have him in the next game, if any. But maybe the fact he just looks too much like an ordinary lobster keeps him from being in a game? I can't think of any other reason he hasn't appeared.

I voted we can do without. Don't get me wrong, I like Ebirah a bunch, but if it came down to him over Zilla or Hedorah, there's no way I would pick Ebirah. I mean in a perfect world we'd be getting a Godzilla game that featured every major monster ever anyway.

I would actually pick Ebirah over Hedorah myself, but not over Zilla. But, to each their own I guess.

I'm a pretty big Hedorah fan. Not only do I think it's a sweet monster, but from a game design perspective I think there are more interesting things you can do with Hedorah than Ebirah. Again, not knocking the lobster-shrimp (I think he's great!), but he's lower-tier for me.

Ebirah for the win! Because the guy doesn't really get a lot. Although I'd rather have Hedorah or Monster X; Kumonga's my number 1 new guy choice over all.

Because the sludge guy only appeared in DAMM and you'd think by now Hedorah would be among the cast of playable characters. Me personally? My second choice after Kumonga, the guy practically had potential. Heck, some sort of glitch was the one thing stopping him from being in Unleashed (unless I'm mistaken).
