I would hint more at the possibility of A-list monsters. I understand there's reasons you can't say "If we raise enough money, we can buy Godzilla." and why you have to say it so softly, but I think something just a little stronger could do wonders. But I understand, there could be potential legal trouble if you say something too much, but just something a tad less vague, along the lines of something like adding "all-stars" or "big names" or just something a little stronger than "other franchises"

Would there be blood coming out from Gigan's sawblades slicing enemies? Chemical burns from Hedorah's muck?
Maybe even an oxygen destoroyer effect from either Destoroyah or the military?

Toho specifically does not allow visible damage to their monsters. So, no.

The "no visible damage" rule is a little strange, since many monsters show damage through the course of the movies. Of course Toho doesn't want images of their monsters covered in blood and looking like gruesome psychos or murder victims... but at the same time, we've seen heads blown off, blood-spurting wounds, and more in the movies themselves.

I am curious how Pipeworks/Atari got away with Gigan's teleport, Titano and Varan's beams, Godzilla's fireball, Anguirus' sonic roar, etc. Any stories to share there?

We shot this part already, and we have a little Godzilla doll floating through the bottom of the screen as I say it...
