I always thought the least people in this fandom wanted was original language in OAR with subtitles.

Yeah Sony really needs to do that with some of their movies.

Is everybody ready? :g2k:

I intend to watch Gojira, Rodan, and the H-Man. BTW, Dish Network lists Rodan as rated R.

Oh, and The Valley of Gwangi will be running too.

I can't wait for this airing/ marathon, though people watching it, be sure to record the intros and outros with Robert Osborne (if he's going to host them), for historical reasons of course, I myself am going to v-blog the event to remember it. :)

I have Godzilla/Gojira & Rodan on DVD already. Don't have Mothra or H-Man, & haven't seen them in a while, so I'll probably tune in. Never seen "Hausu", so I'll check it out.

Well its about to kick off, I've never seen Rodan or Mothra, so I look forward to them. And though I've seen the Japanese Version of Gojira, seeing it being played for me on TV, and on a channel that doesn't air commercials during the running of a film. Then count me in for a monster movie night. I got two friends with me and we are currently waiting for things to begin.

Yeah, Robert Osbourne's Japanese could use a bit of work.

The print and subs appears to be the Classic Media ones, still awesome to see Godzilla subbed for the first time on TV. :)

Got to love the pacing of the Japanese Version, things just seem to flow smoothly and much more quickly.

My pronunciation of the ra/la is pretty foul, so I can't throw too many stones at Osbourne.

In any case... Man, it's cool to see this on television. :)

Mmm...Although in the American Version I don't like Emiko very much. But in the Japanese Version, I can tolerate her somewhat.
