This. I don't understand why this isn't more prevalent thinking considering how simple it is and how much it answers so painlessly. I love the idea of Minya as a Godzilla-like creature.

I was thinking, what if Minilla is an adult? When he first hatches he's that weird fetus thing, then the next time you see him he's grown a little and he doesn't change after that. I know they used his suit for DAM because it was still fresh, but for some reason I like the idea of him being just some sort of pygmy Godzilla.

I kind of like that Godzilla adopted Minya and Junior. From what I've heard of the place of adoption in Japanese culture, it sends a nice message.

I guess I'm interested in Junior and Minya being together because I think the chemistry of two of them together would be more interesting then them just alone. Well, unless the single son interacts with other monster children...

If an offspring is used, it'd be better to have one. Junior would be more fitting to our time than Minya, as Junior can be treated more seriously. Minya is kind of cute, but his appearance is too comical.

What do you think Godzilla thnks of Minya? Do you think he believes his son is a disappointment? Does he introduce him as "My...son's brother!" or something? Is junoir the more loved older brother, like Charlie to Alan Harper?

Considering Minya and Junior are from completely different continuities, and considering the different personalities of the respective Godzilla's, I am certain that Godzilla does not prefer one over the other.

Junior is pretty much the Heisei Minlla. The only real difference is that Junior doesn't suffer from stunted growth.

It'd be interesting to see Minya and Junior together. I could imagine Minya being frightened by Junior's size, and Junior being jealous that Godzilla would give Minya more attention. In the end it would be quite cute.

As for the current discussion, I would imagine Minya being born by a subspecies of Godzillasaurus that was also affected by the same radiation that created Godzilla, so I would imagine Minya looking like Godzilla, but not being excactly the same.

Anyway, I guess the old Godzilla couldn't help but love his son. Ah, but if he knew what was comming, he might've been a little...disappointed by him. Just speculation, of course.
