I don't get godzilla's death.

2. Showa Godzilla (1955-1975: Godzilla Raids Again through Terror Of MechaGodzlila)
3. Heisei Godzilla (1984-1995: The Return Of Godzilla through Godzilla vs. Destoroyah) *died*
4. Godzilla 2000 (1999: only in Godzilla 2000)
5. GxM Godzilla (2000: only in Godzilla X Megaguirus)
6. GMK Godzilla (2001: only in Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack) *died, but probably would have returned*
7. GxMG/GMMG Godzilla (2002-2003: only in Godzilla X MechaGodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS)
8. GFW Godzilla (2004: only in Godzilla: Final Wars)

Maybe the reason it's hard for fans to explain stuff about Godzilla is how many continuities there are. There are seven movie continuities, a couple game ones, a few comic book ones.
I guess it ain't as bad as the Marvel Multiverse complex, though.

Or Resident Evil's how they keep retconing things. I almost feel bad for new fans trying to understand the continuity.

It's no more difficult than figuring out where all the Ultraman series & films fall in the canon, and which are related. You should hear me try to explain that to a newer fan... :freak:

Good god man. I've recently gotten into the Ultra Series and it's hell to figure out how they all fit and such so I know the feeling. :freak:

At this point, there are literally 15 or more timelines. More often than not, I just tell new folks to pick a show, watch it, and and have fun; don't worry about the continuity until they get into the franchise a little more. Even then, you can usually enjoy each series without knowing much of the background canon.

Yeah, I think I know how some are connected, but the others, I'm not too sure. I remember hearing something like Ultra Q-Ultraman-Ultraseven-Ultraman Jack connect and Ultraman Dyna and Tiga connect, but honestly, I bare;y have a clue what's going on. Cimmerian Dragon, if it's not too much trouble, could you send me a pm on how they all fit? That would be great.

Ok, I just watched Godzilla vs. Destroyah and, quick question a bit related, can you list the films godzilla junior is in? I also watched Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla with it, and notice, there is a little godzilla, and godzilla junior, are they the same?

Godzilla Junior was in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II as Baby Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla as Little Godzilla, and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah as Godzilla Junior. They are all the same creature.
