Showa has always been my favorite era and I'd love to see certain things like Monster Island coming back and how they got the monsters there, bringing overlooked kaiju like Gorosaurus, Varan, the Gargantuas, Titanosaurus, Megalon, the Yog Gang and all the others, the Red Bamboo returning as antagonists, perhaps dusting off Mogu, Redmoon, Erabus, Hafun, Majin Tuol, The Ashuka Fortress and maybe giving a spin-off TV show to Jet Jaguar/Zone Fighter. Honestly, even though they're probably never going to do this,if Toho did something like that, it'd be my dream come true.

I pick Option 1. Think, really. The Xiliens have failed, and they can no longer do anything since they have pretty much gone extinct. For you Showa fanboys, this gives Toho the window to bring back other forces to to try and take over the world in its crippled state. The Simeons could return a la a modern antagonistic MechaGodzilla. The Seatopians could see the Xilien's plan backfire and think the time is right to invade the surface. The Red Bamboo could attack the world's cities to cripple it further. Really, there are a number of things you could do with a continuation of Final Wars.

But Toho doesn't have balls and they feel the need to reinvent the wheel with every movie. So that ain't happening.
