Favorite Monster Robot

Ok, we are dealing here with a group of people with extensive knowledge of Toho, so, with that in mind what is your favorite Robot Monster -
Mine would have to be Mechagodzilla in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla - 1974 version, and here's why, he would be unbeatable with the twirling head force field.

so, what is yours? :)

Tie between Kiryu and Hesei Mechagodzilla.
Give Zilla a chance.

Probably the unluckiest guy in the Shadow Arena

Kiryu. I like the detail in the design, like the metal-musculature look of the armor plates. Extra points for evoking the original '74 version more than the Heisei incarnation did. I also absolutely love that red tear-drop light beneath the eyes. It's a wonderful touch on such a sad, exploited creature.

2nd would be Showa MechaGodzilla.

Kiryu's not a true robot but a cyborg. Your move CD.

I choose Robo Pteranodon.

Gotta go with Kiryu and Jet Jaguar. Both are somewhat sleek, agile and really good at physical combat.

Bwaaaaaahahahaaaa! He said Mechani Kong! I was kidding around about the cyborg bit.

And I've changed my mind again... The robo trilobite.

 I guess you're right. Hmmm...okay, hows about this?

In the dialog regarding his Trilobite, Yuhara says it is "half-robot", quite specifically calling the exterior shell the "robot" part. So...Kiryu's robotic exterior is my favorite robot. Godzilla '54 just happens to be inside it. ;)
