In the original it was Venus but in the American version they switched it with Mars.

Ah, so the Controller says; he could have been lying though, and considering the Planet Xers control King Ghidorah, it's a safe bet...

That's true, actually. Hedorah in this day would be definitely at the top of my votes, but there are several kaiju who, with ideal conditions, could take the top spot potentially. I'm not even talking ferocity here but pure power. Actually when you think about it, Mothra Leo's got to be near the top somewhere; always adapting to all threats, able to become Lightspeed or Armour Mothra among others, his Eternal form able to nulify the effects of pretty much any planet killer aftermath... he's pretty tough and like with Hedorah he has more potential...

It was the Venusian that said that, not the Controller. And Venusian came to warm the people of earth about King Ghidorah. She certainly wasn't with the Xiliens.

Well besides Godzilla himself, it's ether King Ghidorah or Gigan. On one hand King Ghidorah is a mindless killer and Gigan is a space chicken with a buzzsaw!! I think I'm going to have to go with the Space Chicken!! :)

Yep, they claimed that they created KG, though I believe they're just talking out of their asses in an effort to seem more badass.

Actually, early production artwork for Zone Fighter had King Ghidorah in it has an example of a Terror-Beast. So there maybe some legitimacy behind their claims if you're taking Showa universe backstory seriously (which I like to do sometimes).

While the idea of King Ghidorah being just another goon kinda' spoils his badassery, he's clearly gotten out of their control more then once.

Meltdown Godzilla, possibly Showa MechaGodzilla II, DesGhidorah(Surprisingly the only Ghidorah in Kaiju history not killed and simply sealed up), and I would possibly say Dagarah simply because he can pollute like Hedorah but in a different fashion.

Also would Legion count as being deadly?

Are we counting non-Toho kaiju in this? If so then maybe Heisei Gamera's worth a mention; hell, he seems to be of a similar vain to Mothra in terms of their allegences, so I don't see why he can't have honorary status here...

Are we talking deadliest to humanity, or to other monsters?

Because we all know damn well Mothra Leo isn't going to be using Transcending Fate against, say, the U.N. Mechagodzilla. He's deadly to others monsters, but he's also an Earth Protector, meaning humanity has nothing to fear.

If we're counting some of the Gamera Trilogy kaiju, I'd say Iris is the deadliest. Unlike his Gyaos kin, Iris possessed the power to bond with a human host, and change his genetic structure. He would've become a higher being had Gamera not intervened. There's something very menacing about a kaiju that feeds off of others by siphoning their life force, growing stronger in the process. Iris demonstrated great strength by treating Gamera like a child. Those Sonic Cutters of his are nothing to scoff at. And given how ridiculously long his tentacles are, Iris has a huge reach.

His biggest problem? Iris is a moron. I swear, Iris could've been the most dangerous kaiju had he acted a little smarter.

Instead he's the Psyduck of the kaiju world.

Imagine if Irys had syphoned the life force out of a load of those Gyaos instead of just a few measely people? Now if that had happened Irys would totally be near the top, but as it stands I believe the level we saw it at probably could be bestest by many other kaiju, especially Toho Heisei era kaiju!!

Gotta go with Burning Godzilla seeing as he could nuke the entire planet, maybe more, if heated up too much. Close behind him are Destoroyah, who needs no explaining; Hedorah, who could turn the entire planet into one big sewage plant; Monster X, who is fast, smart, and durable enough to survive a beam that can halt and destroy an asteroid, and along with him GFW Godzilla, who is MX's equa; and Orga, who could take other monster's powers and become the most powerful mish mash of monsters ever known. Honorable mention is Spacegodzilla. He'd be so much more deadly if he wasn't such an arrogant twit.

In no paricular order:

Destoroyah- Remember, this guy can keep growing like Hedorah. There is a very good chance that the Final Form was not the Final Form that he could transform into, only the Final Form that was in the movie. Or he could break apart to form an army of Final Forms. And like Hedorah, the bigger he his, the stronger he seems to become.

Hedorah- Same reasons as Desoroyah

Dogora- Same reasons as Hedorah and Destoroyah

Gyaos- Okay, seriously, what kaiju, aside from the above mentioned, could take on a million Gyaos?

Burning Godzilla- Simple enough. He can destroy the entire planet!

I always thought so too. That's really what makes him so dangerous... His potential.
