Favorite alien race in Toho films?

Speaking of Black Hole Simians, has anyone noticed that in GvMG their uniforms include an ape face belt buckle?

The Xians. They're logical, cold, and their leader is one of the best villains in a Godzilla film.

If they're logical, then explain this to me: If Xians were always on earth (at least from the beginning of the film), and they could always control the monsters, then why pretend to be friends with the humans? Why not just immediately attack earth, catch them off-guard and take control of Godzilla and Rodan when they show up?

Honestly, I like the Xians for how they're connected to their computers and their overall look and atmosphere they present. But they do have flaws, such as what I said above. The Xians are not exactly the brightest bunch out there.

Yeah, I always was confused by why the Xians/Xiliens needed to pull that whole "we come in peace" routine when they clearly had the technology to invade earth undetected and seize control of our monsters. Their plan would have gone off without a hitch if they'd just invaded covertly & taken the earth by surprise.

As out of control & campy as Final Wars was, at the very least the alien's plan made a bit more sense. Gain humanity's trust, take them over from within, enjoy human burgers, yum XD. heck, even after they were exposed they had an army of monsters to do their dirty work, & anyone who's seen the film knows why the first leader of the Xiliens refrained from using brute force against earth from the beginning (a lesson his successor didn't learn until it was too late for him).

The Kilaaks and Simians probably had the best plans out of the lot of them though. However, in the case of the Simians, I could never understand why they needed human scientists to build/rebuild Mechagodzilla.

Well I like the Black Hole aliens because they dress in those awesome silver outfits and they're apes, but the Xilien leader in Final Wars just kills me every time with his cheesy lines, facial expressions and temper throwing. So as a race, I gotta go with the apes, but I liked the Xilien leader the best as an individual alien.

The Mysterians. Cool helmets and capes, giant robots, an underground fortress, countless death-rays, and all the forces of nature at your disposal. 'Cept for one minor problem: RADIATION POISONING.

Oh, okay. I haven't seen The War In Space yet, so I didn't recognize the name - which, I admit, is a pretty cool name.

Favorite, Showa and Millennium Xiliens. Love both Controllers, although I have to admit that the classic one is kinda...Creepy and awesome. Its liking he's trolling you, but while being extremely polite and well mannered. And there's like no hint of sarcasm lol.

I love the 2004 "Kid", lively, sadistic, funny, cocky, and powerful. Sure he's a man child, then again, I'm sure the common person in this immature day and age would act like him to some extent.

The Black Hole aliens from Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla were awesome as well, smooth, laid back, with destructive power literally at their finger tips (Or umm..Controls?)



But in Terror of MechaGodzilla...I couldn't help but laugh near the end of the film:

When seeing this scene, with one of them laughing then jumping off a cliff, I couldn't really see the same flare that they had in the previous film. I just ended up laughing along with him lol

My favorites are the Black hole aliens also known as the Ackholes for reasons stated before and also because they were the aliens I grew up watching in Godzilla movies.

I alway's like The Mysterians a whole lot because they where funny
Not only did they have awesome helmets, but they had Moguera, can't go wrong there
Plus I thought their motives where funny

Overall, the Simeons are great for creating MechaG and I like the Millenium Xilians. That Xilian kid is friggin nuts!
