Speak for yourself - Higuchi is one of my idols!
Like I said, he wasn't a bad choice. If it wasn't for Shinji Higuchi, the spfx in the Gamera trilogy wouldn't have been that amazing. It'd be an honor to meet him.

BTW, for the people that have went to previous G-Fests, how much do the guests usually charge for autographs?

Lucky.
I've been listening to my gut since I was 14 years old, and frankly speaking, I've come to the solution that my guts have sh¡t for brains!

^ Yep. Last year, Akira Takarada had some pictures that could be purchased for around $20, but they were optional.

Takarada was taking photos of fans?
Yeah I think they were more random photos for his own memories but he was taking pictures right before the screening and I ended up snapping a picture of him taking a picture of me and a few friends it was really cool. He ended up sitting just a few rows behind me as well when the movie was playing it was probably the best movie going experince of my life.

I wound up sitting directly behind the man. I was pretty great and he was very, very personable.

Ah yes, I remember that pic. That's the one I ended up in, but didn't even realize was being taken at the time. I'm not even looking at the camera.

Looks like the movies being shown this year are Mothra (1961), Gamera Super Monster, Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 93, Gamera Guardian of the Universe and 2 more TBA. I am so syked! well, the 13 hr drive from upstate NY will kill us but the 13 hrs will be worth it for the weekend :)

I would love to go Okakon someday. Maybe when I raise enough money someday. And awesome, another fellow Marylander! I felt alone for a while there. :D

Yup. No doubt MOTHRA will be the recent Sony DVD, and GAMERA:GOTU will most likely be the recent BD release.

I entered the music video contest in 2007, but unfortunately my video didn't get to the finals.
