Showa Bagan?

What do you think a showa version of Bagan could have looked like?

That's very atypical for the Showa series, Mike.

Oh LOL, SHOWA Bagan. I didn't register that because, honestly, why the hell would Bagan have been in the Showa series if he didn't even exist as an idea until what, the '80s?

Its a hypothetical question.

I think Bagan would be the creature conceived for the first script of The Return of Godzilla. It's hard to put such a Heisei-esque monster into a Showa frame.

He would be ridiculously skinny and hyperactive and I'm sure he'd have a stupid expression on his face

Bagan would probably have been depicted as some sort of mythical creature. Besides being a biped, how it could have looked is anyones guess.
Kaiju are just like people- giant, radioactive people.

Megalon went into a bar and saw Gigan. Megalon said, " Again? I thought you gave this up."
" What can I say," Gigan asked. " I'm hooked."

I visualize a creature that is agile like King Caesar was, but had a frame much like Monster X in Final Wars. Keep in mind this is the Showa age so the suit would be significantly less realistic than the one Monster X boasted.

Guess I'll just say something since this is here...

If this concept art is any indication...

Bagan is a lost cause, I've given up already on this thing appearing in any future movies.

Showa Bagan= Totem Pole

Heisei Bagan= the greatest most over rated, you either love him or you hate and you want him in a movie but you know it will never happen but if it did finally happen it probably wouldn't live up to the hype.

Millennium Bagan= this guy

Seeing as how Bagan had like a bajillion different conceptual designs, he could have looked like anything.

Q: Will we see that monster that Bryan was going to reveal this morning at the press conference?
Cranston: Oh yeah! The only Godzilla movie with an X-rating.
