Toho monster logos, how to find?

I scanned in all of the icons from the Sony DVDs, Classic Media, etc and here's what I came up with:

LOL, sorry, that was my fault! I was trying to quickly fix it but it didn't come out the way I wanted and then I forgot to go back and remove my changes. I'll update it once I get a better scan.

This. There's not enough detail on the body. Compared to all the other ones (excluding Minilla), he is incredibly lacking.

*edit*- OK so I couldn't sleep without checking this out. It is a horrible copy, but the best I could get from a screenshot of the game. It does in fact say "Mechagodzilla Kiryu", I'm sorry the quality is so bad. But now we can confirm 56 Icons woo hoo!!

Love the Bagan one, had no idea he even had one! Wonder how many monsters there are that are left out? I don't think I've seen icons for the 6 Trading Battle monsters, come to think of it...

Thank you. I think we exhausted the thread until someone recently asked about the Icons. Also with IDW creating official Toho icons for the Gargantuas, we finally have soemthing to discuss. .

I think on the first trailers STE shown the icon of Kiryu saying either Mechagodzilla 3 or Mechagodzilla - Kiryu.

I honostly don't...
I could see MechaG 1974, and perhaps Gigan 2004 with the chainsaws, and perhaps Moguera 1957, but that's about it...

Quite busy at the moment and didn't have time to browse the whole thread thoroughly in great detail, but there are quite a few not on this list. All three Yog monsters have icons, not just Kamoebas (they're on the back of the Toho Shock! DVD). Dogora has his own icon as well, which is also on the back of the Shock Tokyo! DVD cover). And *I think* Matango has an icon as well, but I am in Japan and my Matango DVD is back in America, so I cannot confirm this.
I know all the various Rebirth of Mothra enemies/characters have their own icons. As for the Gargantuas, they'll be getting their own icons soon, as Mowry from IDW claims to have made some new ones at TOHO's request for their potential appearances in their G comics:

I also noticed that Godzilla used to have another, older icon, sometimes seen in 70's merchandise.

That original icon goes all the way back to the '60s and lasted until 1994.

Yup, that's right... and quite honestly, I much preferred it to the current Marvel comics icon because unlike the Marvel comics icon, it actually looks like Godzilla. I have never been as sentimental towards the Marvel Godzilla comics as some fans are, and I always found the artwork and depiction of Godzilla by Herb Trimpe and others to be very unappealing...choosing that particular image to represent their most famous kaiju on all of their licensed products was a wierd move on TOHO's part. Overall, I have always found these icons rather silly and a sign of how truly bizarre it must be to do business with TOHO for companies in North America...
