Worst Ideas For The Godzilla Franchise

- a Godzilla themed racing game like Mario Kart.

Uhhh..if done right this would be amazingly fun. Going through city maps, huge roster, chibi and cute characters. This could be AMAZING.

- Disney and Pixar's Godzilla and Friends. An all animated kids movie with puffy talking kaiju and zany PG adventures.

Again, see above. If done right, this could be a LOT of fun, and a great way to get a younger crowd into Godzilla. Not saying this in lieu of live action films, but if someone was working on this, i wouldn't be upset.

- Godzilla film directed by Rob Zombie

Personal taste. I've been a fan of Zombie since I was 8 years old and played Twisted Metal 3 for the first time, and I've been devoted to him ever since. I know his stuff isn't everyone's cup of tea. Having said that, knowing his devotion to monsters, and seeing old school Godzilla clips on his stage backdrop at every concert of his I've been to, I'm sure he would approach this with the source material in mind and it would be no worse than Emmerich's film.

Having said that, I'd rather he stick to horror. So, while I don't think this is a "Worst Idea for the Franchise", I'll agree it's best left alone.

This could be potentially amazing, if done right. Think of how interesting the U.S. scenes were from Godzilla 1985. It's all about the execution.

Honestly, after all the strange things the Godzilla franchise has done, there are only a few things that I think would be genuinely terrible:
-Never rereleasing the old Godzilla movies again
-Making an ad endorsing a nuclear power-plant starring Godzilla
-A New Scooby-Doo movie style show where Godzilla runs into a new celebrity every week--and none of them are the likable ones
-Godzilla gets new video games but they're all match-3 app games
-Creating more Godzilla clones
-Never using Jet Jaguar again (fight me)
-And (as I mentioned earlier) a new Godzilla cartoon from the folks behind Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and Kong: King of the Apes
Other than that, I can handle it.

These are the only genuinely bad ideas I've seen in this thread. The rest are all either:
A) Something completely ridiculous that would never happen.
B) Something that could actually be pretty good if done right.

C) An already existing and successful Godzilla movie that somebody just happens to not like for one reason or another.
