Godzilla's Energy: Setting It Straight

Is Godzilla Nuclear or Atomic. He has Atomic Breath but some incarnation I believe had him Nuked(Nuclear Bomb). But I also hear that he might have been hit by the Hydrogen Bomb. Sometimes people don't even say what specific energy and just say he's consumes radioactive material. I'm very confused and I just want to know. Exactly what energy effected Godzilla?

Godzilla's more like a, nuclear weapon. A living nuclear weapon, destined to walk the earth forever, indestructible.

The Showa film never says much about nuclear energy being his power source, but does blame the H bomb's radiation for mutating him. The Hesei make it clear that Godzilla is nuclear powered. He's drawn to nuclear plants in this era, and then goes into meltdown in the end. Even the most recent Godzilla film states that Godzilla feeds off a radiation.

Atomic and nuclear pretty much go hand-in-hand, much like oranges and citrus fruits. Probably not the best analogy, but in essence they are the same thing. Godzilla is an atomic entity brought on by nuclear energy.
