This thread is for you to say and talk about you favorite concept art of the toho films. Try and state why you like the art be it because its interesting or downright insane(trust me their are alot of pieces that are crazy. Look at orga for example)

Anywho, to start, some of my favorite concept art are these two picstures from Godzilla vs Megaguirus.

Sorry they are just links. TK security systems are annoying :D

I like these pics because of the art style. One day I kind of want to e able to draw like that as it interest me.

Easily the poster art for SpaceGodzilla in Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla and the poster concept for Mechagodzilla in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (1992).

Death Ghidorah has some good concepts along with Grand King Ghidorah as well.

That looks more ferocious than what eventually appeared on film.

Anyway, Anthony and the gang have barely scratched the surface, why do they rarely update the concept art section like back in the good old days?

Those Bio concepts are freaking scary man. Their on the same level as the Orga and GKG art!

Indeed. A friend of mine described them as being like something out of either PS1 era Resident Evil or Parasite Eve.

Same here. The design is wonderfully Showa-esque and is pretty nicely proportioned. A solid design all around. :)

The design is certainly less than attractive, but it admittedly hammers in the anti-nuclear message of Gojira better than Godzilla himself ended up doing (though he did fine) - Though, maybe it made the allusions a bit too obvious.
