How bout GMK?

Okay here is my review for GMK.

Acting: 5/5
All of the characters do an outstanding job in my book.

Special Effects: 4.5/5
The special effects are excellent. The Godzilla used in this one happens to be one of my favorites. There are a few instances where the CGI doesn't look perfect, but the rest tops it over.

Story: 4/5
The story in this one is also really good. Unlike some others, I like the idea of Ghidorah being a good guy. I also love the surprise ending!

Overall: 5/5

This one is definitely one of my two favorites in the Millienium series.

Godzilla vs Hedorah:

A strange Godzilla film and it does have a social message with its take on pollution & stuff. Its not for the faint of heart as some of the film's images are quite horrific. Its score is just so zany that it works for this film. The effects are pretty decent. The acting is solid and overall one of the most enjoyable G films I've ever seen. 8.50/10

@Godzilla 1995 I challenge you to watch Varan

I viewed the start of the Millenium era this evening. It's not a great start, but a good start. Anyway, here's my list of the top 10 things I learned from watching this movie.

10. It's not everyday you see a flying rock.

9. When dealing with giant monsters, a certain level of civilian casualties is acceptable- about 200 to 300.

8. Don't take photos too close to Godzilla. You'll irradiate the film and yourself.

7. Fried cabbage is good. Just be sure to keep chopping.

6. Cold Teriyaki is a terrible thing, but as long as you have cold beer, it's ok.

5. Half a space ship is better than none. You never know when you'll need a shield.

4. Nothing is unbreakable. Well, maybe that fruit cake you got last year is.

3. Japanese stores have a new policy: No shoes, no shirt, and no space ships.

2. Always remember to send flowers. It lets people know you're not a complete jerk.

1. Godzilla is inside each one of us. Maybe that explains the purple spines sticking out of my back.

Alright, finished Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 74.

Acting: 4/5

The characters are all okay and do well in my opinion.

Special Effects: 4.5/5

The special effects in this one are really good, with the exceptions of a few scenes where wires can be seen.

Story: 3.5/5

The story is not that bad, but you do have to wonder about the laziness of the Black Hold Aliens.

Overall: 4/5

This movie is one of my favorites, bit it isn't as good to me as the next film in the series. Also Mechagodzilla's design in this movie is my favorite out of all the others.

Alright, so everyone seems to love Varan.

I mean the monster, not the movie. the movies suffers from being just a dull, uninteresting remake of Godzilla, with just a different kaiju. Nothing about it is interesting.

I was challenged to watch G vs Hedorah.

This is a weird movie, and I still think that after this viewing. The psychedelic images and suggestion of skulls is an odd mix. If I didn't know it was just a tv screen, I might be worried about what was in my water. Of course, the imagery is just part of the grim mood of the movie. We see people dying in pools of sludge, and killed by acidic fly bys. It puncuates how bad it could get if we don't clean up our act and stop polluting our world. It also demonstrates that cats can survive anything.

The monsters are great here. Hedorah is the deadliest Showa kaiju ever created. It's multiple forms are deadly to man, and the final form nearly did Godzilla in. I suppose you could get the message that it takes all of us to stop pollution in view of Hedorah's defeat. Both man and monster take part in the monster's monster's end, something that will later be repeated in films like G vs Destroyah. Godzilla has some good fight scenes here, and displays a new power-flight. I did say it was a weird movie.
