SciFi JAPAN TV #10: THE ART OF GODZILLA – YASUYUKI INOUE TRI

Postby kpa » Tue Feb 19, 2013 4:50 pm

SFJTV is back with a new episode honoring Yasuyuki Inoue, head of Toho Special Effects Art Department during the studio’s Golden Age. Toshio Miike (art director on the Heisei Godzilla series) moderates a discussion in which former members of Toho’s FX crew discuss Inoue’s role in creating the sets, mecha, props – and sometimes the monsters— seen in the classic Godzilla and tokusatsu films.

That was an excellent episode. I feel sorry that I had never heard of Mr. Inoue before, but I will be sure to remember his name now.

...So... Arbok... How about adding him to the staff page soon? ;-)
