Any Future for Charaters like Jet Jugaur, Gabera, ETC

But I'll just say that I don't think they'll be in any new movies (unless it's a big anniversary film). Is that what you mean? Or do you mean that they star in their own films? I can see them appearing in comics...

I assume you mean for one-off monsters used in Showa Godzilla movies in particular?

If so, then it depends on the monster but I'd mostly say no. The thing is, I suppose Jet Jaguar could be rebooted into some sort of Ultra-series competitor with TV series or movies somehow, but I don't see Toho going that route. Most of those monsters have no real reason to return. Toho may as well drum up something new.

I would love to see Jet Jaguar have his Neo look if Toho were to ever bring him back.

Jet Jaguar might be showing up in IDW's Godzilla comics, though.

Jet Jaguar may show up in games and comics, but a movie is doubtful. Still, he might show up if Toho ever wants an Ultra type hero.

I don't see much chance for the Single show Showa monsters coming back. Toho generally sticks with the money makers when it doesn't try something new.

Movies? I don't see it happening. You'll likely see more new monsters or poular monsters for the billionth time before these obscure characters.

Video Games? Depends on who you're talking about. For example, JJ is likely, but I don't see Gabara happening...

Comics? Again, depends on who it is. Jet Jaguar is already slated to appear, but they don't have the rights to use Gabara (that we know of).

Gabara could easily work in a video game. Another movie, though... it's certainly doable. With some tweaking, his character has some stories left in it. I really doubt it'll ever happen, though, given the less-than-stellar reputation of his only movie so far.

Gabera would work well in a game. All he needs is a distance electric attack.

Megalon is the only Showa-exclusive kaiju I think has any chance of ever coming back in films. Not much to say why, just he has a little more notoriety.
