That is cool, but Godzilla seems to have always fared well in The San Francisco Bay Area. There is a large asian population (not trying to profile, just providing facts), and horror hosts like Bob Wilkins, and the support of August Ragone have done a lot to promote the culture in that region.
I rememebr a similiar poll was done In the late 90's in Sacramento. It was on the radio however, and I remember Godzilla lost to Pinhead in the second round according to voters.
. In fact Godzilla's first round opponants were the Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz, and he barely made it past that. Its good to see a more intelligent (and admittedly favorable) poll in the present.
