New Kaiju for the future you would like to see

If there are going to be new Kaiju in future Godzilla films, then what kind would you want represented more?

I wouldn't mind seeing more in the mammal and bird department. Beside King Kong, whose owned by a different company, there are only a few mammal Kaiju in Toho films and only King Seeser/Shiisa/etc. in the main Godzilla films. For some reason, the first image to come to mind is a a giant porcupine Kaiju.

For birds, I can only recall one in Toho (Please correct me if I'm wrong) - Ookondoru/Giant Condor from the Ebirah movie, who barely lasted a minute. I don't know what others I would like to see, but I speculate that was the reason why Godzilla the Series had so many birds.

Or heck, even dinosaurs that aren't even theropods, which are a dime a dozen in monster movies in general. Maybe apatosaurus-like creature or Triceratop-like giants.

How about a elemental monster? A rock, fire, or even a water monster. maybe something that can switch between?

Or even a simple creature that can control the elements.

I don't necessarily have a design in mind, but I would like to see more daikaiju that are noted for their aesthetic majesty and beauty. For Toho that's always been Mothra, a beautiful creature in a way.

Glad to see this come up again. Last time I agreed there need to be a spirit realm (or demonic) type Kaiju, also an elemental type would be cool also.

As far as what has not been mentioned- How about a stone giant like DaiMajin or Gekido-Jin from the Dark Horse one shot? Godzilla has never faced anything like that in universe.

Hmm. I'm liking a lot of the ideas posted above. A sauropod or ceratopsian kaiju could be pretty cool. I think, between the two, I'd prefer a sauropod. Godzilla has never fought anything like one, and that type of monster is very rarely used in movies these days. A ceratopsian would be pretty similar to Anguirus or Baragon, and there have been plenty of 'T-Rex vs Triceratops' movies over the years as it is; I don't know if Toho needs to make another one.

- A giant shark would also be great, though obviously pretty limited as a fighter. I wouldn't think Godzilla would have a lot of trouble with one, especially since he has the option leave the water and blast the shark from shore. It would probably work best as a minor, nuisance kaiju.

- A living statue or kaiju made of earth, done with sufficiently kickass CGI, could make for a very powerful and versatile enemy. I'd like to see that happen. Maybe a modified Obsidious could work in this role.

- Mammals would be good. I don't really have any specific ideas, though.

They can survive extreme heat, cold, live in a near death state for 100s of years before being revived by water, can withstand high amounts of radiation, and can survive in the vacum of space. That's just the normal real life ones.

Imagine what a giant mutant kaiju one could do or survive.

A few more mammals would be nice. Perhaps a wild pig, as they can be viscious when cornered.

Just have a naturally occruing rip in the space-time thing. Hell have a new energy source do it.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like a redesigned El Gusano brought into the movies. A big, burrowing worm that collapses cities just by tunneling under them, and is immune to attack until it decides to pop out of the ground. That could be a very complicated, dangerous opponent for Godzilla, provided the weakness to heat is removed.

Monsters that don't have a clear humanoid shape like Legion and Iris would be interesting too.
