To me it's the ending theme of Godzilla vs Gigan, I thought to myself "What kind of drugs did the composers do to come up with this?"

It was an upbeat pop song that was very common to films and TV shows of that era. Every Godzilla film from Revenge to the first Mechagodzilla had a tie-in song that was used in the movie, a longer "record" version of the same song and a different "B song" titles along the lines of "Get Hedorah" or "Down with Gigan".

I have no idea what makes you think anyone making these songs were on drugs. Honest to God, I'm starting to wonder about certain new members here.

Whatever drugs they took to make pretty basic and straight forward Tokusatsu show theme songs, probably.

Ebirah: Horror of the Deep has a weird score. It's a giant monster film, but you could listen to the soundtrack and you would be thinking "Surf's up!". I don't dislike it, but it's a rather strange choice for a monster film.

If Godzilla didn't exist and this soundtrack was released as an album, it probably would have been called "This Is The Exact Music You Hear When You See A Group Of Young People That Are Wicked Baked." Which fits that movie pretty much perfectly.

The King Caesar alarm clock song, because it's the most awkwardly performed, filmed, and edited song in the entire series.

I agree wholeheartedly, it's one of those rare cases I like the opening music in the U.S. cut more than the Japanese one.

For me the wierdest song i've heard goes to the infamous Jet Jaguar song. I'm just happy MST3K translated for us lol.

I would agree with everyone that says the GODZILLA"S REVENGE opening song is the weirdest.

The opening song is actually by an artist whose name is Ervin Jereb and the song is called "Crime Fiction".

The American dub opening of Godzilla's Revenge. I had seen the film for the first time in over ten years recently, when that played I was like "What the heck..." I like it, it's just very, very strange.

Crime Fiction is decidedly the weirdest, that's part of its charm. The most out of place however, is Godzilla's love theme at the end of The Return of Godzilla. What's up with that pop/romantic song that follows a very gothic and epic score?
