SPECIAL ABILITIES

Life Sight (Ex): Fairy Moths can see the state of life, death, and general health of those around them. When one uses this ability, she can tell whether or not creatures within 30 feet of itself are living, wounded, dying, or dead. A fairy moth can also tell if those creatures are confused, disabled, diseased, nauseated, poisoned, sickened or staggered.

ECOLOGY
Environment temperate forests or tropical islands
Organization solitary, pair, or Rabble (3-7)
Treasure None

Fairy Moths are the divine messengers of Mothra. Born of her will and goodness, they are sent out into the world as extensions of her will. They are charged with spreading her purpose to the world, encouraging love and friendship wherever they go. Looking like tiny versions of the beloved goddess, their wings and luminous eyes come in many different colors and patterns, with no 2 fairy moths looking quite the same.

A typical fairy moth is about ½ foot long and tall, with wings spanning 1 foot wide. Their natural lifespan is unknown; though they appear to be large moths or butterflies, none has ever been seen in a form other than their imago stage. On occasions where they serve another person as a familiar or companion, they will bond to that person for life. No truer or more loyal friend will ever be found. When that person dies, the fairy moth inevitably returns to Infant Island, though from their none can say what happens to them.
