Off the southernmost point of Japan, oceanographers prepared a remote submarine in order to map the ocean floor. This device was the Unmanned Submersible Kaiko, and as the vessel descended deep into the sea, the dark waters obscured everything from vision. Illumination revealed something unfathomable; the ocean floor was littered with Gamera corpses! It was a mass grave, and it was determined that these bodies had been lying there for quite some time.
