Basically, the SSS-1 is the sister city of the Space Station Terra. Together they processed the information that was retrieved from the JX-2 Eagle. They tried to give as much light to mankind's minds, as to this mysterious but destructive force that threatened all life. But, after the Eagle left, the SSS-1 followed. The twin cities of the stars returned to Earth. Yet hopefully the planet would still be there when they arrived.
