Deep in the trenches of the Pacific, a nuclear submarine was gently moving when tragedy suddenly struck! An S.O.S. was sent to no avail. As the continuing worries of the self-defense force continued to swell, word of the sunken submarine only added to the concerns. When the Satsuma was dispatched to locate the decimated vessel, it looked as though the claws of an animal of astonishing dimensions had torn through the hull. Nearby, barely visible above the rocky ocean floor, the glowing cerulean fins of a dark creature swam eerily aloft. This occurrence was the first in a series of signs that foretold the imminent return of Japan's demonic enemy: Godzilla.
