The first line of defense, the Half Track V2 Rockers were bordered around Japan in the eclipsing year of 1999. Able to fire long range, the missiles could strike targets miles away. Located beneath the grounds of the open plains, inside of their secret silo bens, the Half Track V2s were first used against the horde of monsters that threatened Tokyo. Against the likes of Godzilla, Manda, Mothra and Rodan, the weapons were quickly deployed, but did little to turn the tide of battle. Showering the rampaging kaijus, the weapons did not live up to expectations. Even with the combined might of their sister machine, the Typhoon Devastators, they did little to stop the attack.
